IN JULY 2023, SHERIFF PROJECTS OFFICIALLY BECAME A CERTIFIED B CORPORATION™, JOINING THE 200 FRENCH COMPANIES THAT PUT THEIR SOCIAL, SOCIETAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT AT THE HEART OF THEIR MISSION IN ORDER TO CREATE A MORE INCLUSIVE, CIRCULAR AND COLLABORATIVE WORLD. IN JANUARY 2022, SHERIFF PROJECTS UPDATED ITS COMPANY STATUTES TO INTEGRATE SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENTS INTO THE COMPANY’S MISSION.

• MAKE THE IMAGE CREATION ECOSYSTEM MORE ACCESSIBLE, CARING AND EQUITABLE.

THE MYCELIUM FUND INCLUDES ALL OF SHERIFF PROJECTS’ PATRONAGE PROJECTS. LIKE THE MYCELIA THAT ALLOWS THE FOREST ECOSYSTEM TO COMMUNICATE, FEED AND REGENERATE, THE MYCELIUM PROJECT INTENDS TO CULTIVATE THE IMAGE CREATION ECOSYSTEM TO MAKE IT MORE ACCESSIBLE, BENEVOLENT AND EQUITABLE.

TO THIS END, SHERIFF PROJECTS HAS COMMITTED TO DONATING 2% OF ITS SALES IN FINANCIAL OR INKIND DONATIONS TO ENSURE ITS LONG-TERM COMMITMENT TO SOCIAL OPENNESS AND EQUAL OPPORTUNITY. IN LINE WITH ITS CORPORATE MISSION, THE MYCELIUM PROJECT’S PARTNERS ARE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS OR ASSOCIATIONS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION OF INCLUSION AND SOCIO-CULTURAL DIVERSITY IN THE IMAGE INDUSTRY.

1. EDUCATIVE PROJECTS :

OUR EDUCATIVE PROJECTS ALLOWS US TO TAKE CONCRETE ACTIONS IN FAVOR OF CREATIVITY AND EDUCATION. THIS IS WHY, SINCE ITS CREATION, SHERIFF PROJECTS HAS BEEN WORKING IN COLLABORATION WITH SCHOOLS IN THE FIELDS OF PHOTOGRAPHY, AUDIOVISUAL CREATION AND FASHION. IN 2021,
UNDER THE MYCELIUM PROJECT PROGRAM, SHERIFF PROJECTS HAS STRENGTHENED ITS COLLABORATION WITH THE FRENCH INSTITUTE OF FASHION, CE3P AND 0-93. LAB TO FOSTER THE DEVELOPMENT OF THEIR TALENTS.

2. COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS

SINCE ITS INCEPTION, SHERIFF PROJECTS HAS BEEN SUPPORTING CREATORS AND TALENTS IN NEED OF VISIBILITY AND RECOGNITION IN THE
PHOTOGRAPHY AND IMAGE CREATION INDUSTRY.

THESE COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS TAKE THE FORM OF PRODUCTION OR POST-PRODUCTION SERVICES (CAPTURE, RETOUCHING), ART PRINTS, STUDIO OR EQUIPMENT LOANS AND SUPPORT FROM SHERIFF PROJECTS TEAMS TO ADVISE AND ACCOMPANY THE BENEFICIARY. THE TALENTS SUPPORTED IN THIS FRAMEWORK ARE SELECTED
ACCORDING TO THEIR CREATIVE POTENTIAL AND THE INNOVATIVE NATURE OF THEIR PROJECT.

3. THE GALLERY X FONDATION ERE

THE ERE FOUNDATION IS A PHILANTHROPIC ORGANIZATION THAT LINKS ARTISTIC CREATION TO SOCIAL ENVIRONMENTAL AND ECONOMIC CAUSES. THROUGH THE CURATION OF IMAGES, ARTISTS AND ASSOCIATIONS COMMITTED TO THE ENVIRONMENT,
THE FOUNDATION AIMS TO RAISE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE NEED TO CHANGE THE WAY WE SEE AND INTERACT WITH THE WORLD.

THUS, EVERY PROFIT FROM THE SALES OF EACH EXHIBITION IS DONATED IN PART TO ASSOCIATIONS COMMITTED TO EDUCATION AND EQUAL OPPORTUNITY.

REDUCING OUR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

TO ENSURE A BETTER BALANCE BETWEEN OUR COMMERCIAL GOALS AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES, SHERIFF PROJECTS IS COMMITTED TO REDUCING ITS CARBON FOOTPRINT AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE RESTORATION OF HEALTHY ECOSYSTEMS.

SHERIFF PROJECTS IS PROUD TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE PROJECT OF LA GRANJA FARM IN THE SOUTH OF FRANCE. THIS PROJECT, WHICH HAS BEEN AWARDED THE ‘LABEL BAS CARBONE’ BY THE FRENCH MINISTRY OF ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION, IS TRANSFORMING 150 HECTARES OF LAND USED FOR INTENSIVE MAIZE FARMING INTO A REGENERATIVE ORGANIC FARM THAT REINTRODUCES ALMOND PRODUCTION IN EUROPE.

THIS REGENERATIVE FARMING MODEL IMPROVES SOIL HEALTH, FERTILITY AND CARBON STORAGE BY IMPLEMENTING BOTH TRADITIONAL PRACTICES SUCH AS CROP ROTATION AND CUTTING-EDGE INNOVATION SUCH AS AGRIVOLTAICS. 

SHERIFF PROJECTS’ PARTICIPATION CONTRIBUTES TO THE STORAGE OF 70 TONNES OF CO2 OVER 25 YEARS, AS PART OF A COLLECTIVE GOAL TO ACHIEVE GLOBAL CARBON NEUTRALITY.
